City Wide overnight parking hours of enforcement will be 12 am to 6 am daily, excluding holidays.

The permit is free to residents whose vehicles are registered to a Revere address and do not have any outstanding parking tickets or excise taxes due to the City. If you have not received a permit in the mail you must apply. Please apply online below.

2024 Permit Stickers & Zones (Update: 1/03/2024)

The City Of Revere Parking Department will honor 2023 Permits into the new year! March 1st, 2024 will be date of expiration for all 2023 permits/placards. Mailings of the new permits will begin on the 1st week of February 2024.

If you do not receive a permit in the mail by February 19, 2024. Please call our office to inquire about your Resident sticker on Mon from 8:00 AM to 700 PM and Tue - Thu 8:00am to 5:00pm and Fri from 8:00am till 12:00pm. Or apply Online or visit the office to apply for a Resident sticker.

2024 Resident Stickers & Visitor Placards will be available for online application on February 1st. In Person applications will be available February 26, 2024.

Applicants in person will need to have an Application Form, 2 Proof of Address of the Revere resident, please bring a hard copy of your vehicle registration registered/garaged in Revere, Driver's license. Before any permit is created, please make sure all outstanding excise taxes and parking tickets are paid in full. If you owe any outstanding ticket(s) or excise tax(s) for the City of Revere, then you will not be eligible for a permit until it is all cleared.

The vehicle MUST be registered/garaged in the city of Revere to obtain a sticker. If you live in Revere but your vehicle is not registered in Revere, you will need to change your registration with the Registry of Motor Vehicles https://www.mass.gov/how-to/replace-your-vehicle-registration-or-plate-decal

If you do not receive a permit in the mail during the 3rd week of February then please visit the office to apply for a sticker on Monday 8:00 am to 7:00pm and Tuesday - Thursday between 8AM - 7PM. On Fridays from 8:00 to 12pm.

Please note: All late/marked Parking tickets and Excise taxes must be up to current in order for you to receive a 2024 resident permit. Visitor permits require you to fill out an application and payment. We DO NOT mail visitor permits unless an application is filled and proper documents with fee are settled.

Residential Parking Regulations

A resident sticker is required to park on any city street between the hours of 12:00AM - 6:00AM daily, except holidays. 24/7 “Resident Parking Only” parking restrictions are in place on multiple streets in most neighborhoods of Revere. The program prevents long-term parking by non-residents on residential streets. You need a permit to avoid getting a ticket.

The vehicle MUST be registered/garaged in the city of Revere to obtain a sticker. All outstanding excise taxes and parking tickets are paid in full. If you are a Revere Resident and need a Resident Sticker. please apply for one online at https://epay.cityhallsystems.com?key=Revere.ma.us

A. Resident parking stickers is valid for a designated one year period and expire on the last day of the calendar year.

B. The Resident Sticker parking permit must be affixed at the lower corner to the interior driver's side front windshield with the permit number and vehicle plate number clearly visible.

C. The Resident Sticker permit is valid on the street where the vehicle is registered or on an immediate adjacent street. Does not allow parking throughout the city.

D. resident parking sticker shall not guarantee or reserve a parking space on the street on which the applicant resides or on an adjacent street.

E. To Apply for The Visitor placards you will need 2 Proof of Address of the Revere resident, vehicle registration registered/garaged in Revere, Driver's license with the correct Revere address or utility bill (Gas or Electric Bill) is only good to use 8 days in a month. Visitor placard cannot be used on any vehicle owned and operated by a resident of the household. Misuse of a placard will result in revoked.

Please ensure your resident sticker permit is always properly displayed. Failure to display your resident sticker permit in the correct location or in the correct car may result in a parking violation. Misuse of a placard or Permit will result in revoked.

  • Pay in person at: The Office of the Parking Clerk, 300 Broadway, Revere, MA 02151, Mon & Wed 8:00AM to 7PM and Tue & Thu 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Friday Closed Cash, check, money order, credit, and debit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Only cash, money orders, and credit/debit cards will be accepted as payment for parking violations which are marked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
  • 4. If the Fine Amount is full payment and received under 21 days of the issue date of the violation, no further action will be taken. If the Fine Amount is unpaid in 21 days a Late Penalty fee of $10.00 will be added. If a Fine goes unpaid for 45 days a penalty of $20.00 will be added as well as a $20.00 RMV Marked Penalty "Non-Renewal of License/Registration.

    A hearing in person or a hearing by mail may be obtained upon a written request of the registered owner within twenty-one (21) days of the violation date to the Parking Clerk.

    Failure to pay or appeal a parking violation within twenty-one (21) days will result in additional late fees, and may also result in the non-renewal of the registered owner’s driver’s license and/or vehicle registration (M.G.L. c. 90 §§ 20A½ - 20C, and 20E as amended) and may also be subject to the tow and hold provisions of M.G.L. c. 90 § 20A½. The law does not affect in any way your right to appeal to Superior Court.

    Parking Meters are active and being enforced from 9 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday. Parking is Free on Sundays and Holidays. Please be sure to pay your meter to avoid being ticketed.
