Fingerprinting

The Moscow Police Department provides digital fingerprinting services to the public on Monday through Friday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only. To schedule an appointment please call (208) 883-7054 or schedule online here.

Fingerprints are required for the following City licenses:

• Daycare
• Solicitor
• Vendor
• Peddler
• Second Hand Pawn
• Taxis & Taxi Drivers

Please bring in a valid ID (driver’s license, state ID card or passport) for proof of identification.

Cost: Please see the applicable application for the appropriate fee. (Payment may be made via cash, check, debit or credit card.)

Third Party Fingerprinting (for teachers, medical personnel, etc.)

Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:

• All necessary paperwork as required by requesting agency
• An 8x10 envelope with correct postage and addressed to agency where fingerprints should be sent.
• A valid ID (driver’s license, state ID card or passport) is required for identification.

Cost: $20.00 processing fee. (Payment may be made via cash, check, debit or credit card.)

PLEASE NOTE: The Moscow Police Department mails all fingerprint cards directly to requesting agency. By policy, we do not provide a card or a copy of the card to individuals.
